July Charity: Brave Trails Camp

When we started our business - formally known as Chainz By G, my sister and I were missing our summer home- Camp Canadensis- because of the Covid 19 Pandemic. When we started this business we knew that every month we wanted to donate to a different charity. Being that we were missing our summer home, we could only imagine how kids all over the world were feeling without that sleep away camp outlet.

Brave Trails Camp is for children and young adults who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Being accepted somewhere is the most powerful feeling, especially when you feel different or stigmatized by society.

Personally I have never understood why only the LGBTQIA+ community has to ‘come out'.’ Why wouldn’t I come out as straight? As it can be a confusing and uncomfortable topic, I urge you all to educate yourselves about correct terminology and the best way to be an ally and support system.

At By G Style we accept EVERYONE. By donating to Brave Trails Camp we supported people in our own community who might not be comfortable in either a girls or boys cabin, but rather a non binary cabin.

Educate yourself and be an ally!
